SKEMA USA hosts panel on International Business in Latin America
Late February, the Global Business Forum (GBF) at SKEMA Raleigh hosted a panel on the topic of “International Business Challenges and Opportunities in Latin America”.
The event featured two driven leaders and experts:
- Dr. Tiffany Harbour, PhD, Director at the Latin American Chamber of Commerce of Charlotte, who discussed the panel topic from a macro level perspective,
- Mr. Wladimir Perdomo, Director of Americas Commercial Services, Education and Training at SAS, who shared his practical experience and on-the-ground perspective working in Latin America.
Mr. Robert C. Azar, GBF Founder and Adjunct Professor of Global Business at SKEMA Raleigh, served as moderator of the program. Students from all programs along with several faculty members attended the event.
Founded last fall, the Global Business Forum is an initiative designed to bring together thought leaders and practitioners from industry, government, and academia to discuss the critical issues of the day that will impact international business – and the world – both today and tomorrow. The Forum aims to help today's and tomorrow’s leaders of society – such as SKEMA students – be better informed about these major topics and be able to better navigate them.
