Three SKEMA students chosen for 2023 Women@Dior mentoring programme

Three SKEMA students – Xue Zeng (MSc Luxury & Fashion Management), Wenqi Song (MSc Luxury and Fashion Management), and Anran Xu (MSc International Marketing & Business Development) – were recently selected for the 2023 Women@Dior Mentoring & education programme. The programme provides career development guidance to young women around the world and the students are expected to make a significant contribution to sustainable development through their participation.

The partnership between SKEMA and Women@Dior started from 2018 and continues to empower young women and promote gender equality and women's leadership on a global scale. Last year, three SKEMA students participated in the programme.

"We are proud to partner with Women@Dior to provide our students with the opportunity to gain valuable career development guidance," said SKEMA China director Matthieu Dumont, adding, "Our continued collaboration with Women@Dior demonstrates our commitment to the education of the next generation of female leaders and the creation of a better future for young women."

Beneficial to career development and personal growth

As part of the programme, each SKEMA student is matched with a mentor from Dior and participates in training on themes of gender equality and women's leadership for a year. "Since I enrolled at SKEMA, I have been paying attention to this programme. Its focus on women's power appealed to me so much that I decided to apply this year. I am looking forward to exploring my career development track thorough this programme and meeting outstanding peers," said Xue Zeng, one of the three participants.

Women@Dior is an international education programme created on International Women's Day in 2017 to provide career development guidance to young women across the world. This aligns with SKEMA Business School's focus on global issues such as the educational advancement of young women, gender equality and women's leadership.
