Two students seek funds to participate in London half marathon

SKEMA students Garance Boudillet and Arnaud Latrasse have decided to participate in the London half marathon on 3 April. To support their charity (the British Heart Foundation) and participate in the race, they need to collect £700.

Garance Boudillet, a first-year student in the Master in Management (PGE) programme, and Arnaud Latrasse, a second-year student in the double degree in Management and Business Law, have decided to take part in the next London Half Marathon, which is on 3 April. To participate in it, they need to put together a budget of £700. "We have launched an online fundraising campaign and collected a little more than £400 so far," said Garance.

For a worthwhile cause

The students will be running to support the British Heart Foundation as "fighting heart disease is particularly important to us," explained Garance, who is currently in the UK as part of an exchange programme with Oxford Brookes University, and is aiming for a career as a consultant in the luxury industry.

Accustomed to charity runs

Arnaud and Garance met during their studies at SKEMA and their sporting activities. The two are passionate about running and have already taken part in La Lilloise, a 10 km charity run that raises awareness on disability issues, and in the Paris Marathon.
