Class of 2014-15 “After having worked in banking finance and auditing for a few years I wanted to deepen my knowledge further and improve my career opportunities. Most of the courses were very practical as most of the teachers are practitioners with professional experience. As we went from the first to the second semester, we applied the acquired knowledge to real-life projects which helped students to get a better grip on the subject. Teachers are very competent and encouraged communication in class. I appreciated hearing real-life stories from our teachers who have been sitting on executive boards, running companies and experiencing all kinds of challenges throughout their careers. Having finished courses, I have now started work as CFO at SimplyBook.me which is an internet-based time appointment software operating throughout the world with over 6000 customers. With the knowledge that I have acquired now through my prior experience and my year at SKEMA, I have the tools to become a competent CFO.
