A crucial topic for organisations in France and across the world, the feminisation of businesses is an issue that has mobilised SKEMA Business School and the members of its faculty for several years. Since 2008, Michel Ferrary, a researcher affiliated with SKEMA and director of the SKEMA Observatory on the Feminisation of Companies, has published a notable study on the presence of women in CAC40 organisations. During this webinar, he will share the results of this latest study.
Despite decades of legislation and public action, disparities persist, their persistence being explained by a complex combination of individual, social, political, and economic factors. To explore this topic during the round table, Stéphanie Chasserio, professor of management at SKEMA and head of the Women and Businesses Chair, will have a discussion with Christine Croibier, CSR director at Adecco Group France.
Geographical proximity and professional ascension
At the end of the webinar, Carla Carolina Rua Gomez, an assistant professor in SKEMA's Innovation Academy, will present her work on the link between geographical proximity and networking in the formation of high-level relationships within the company. (Presentation in English.)
