Giving Tuesday: SKEMA community unites to support students in need

Started ten years ago in the United States in response to Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Giving Tuesday is an international day dedicated to generosity. At SKEMA, Giving Tuesday is used as an opportunity to provide scholarships to SKEMA students who need them most. Last year, €15,000 was raised for scholarships through Giving Tuesday.

The generosity of the SKEMA community is renowned. For the 2021-22 academic year, 170 scholarships were awarded to SKEMA students in financial need. To continue our quest to help students, the entire SKEMA community is invited to support Giving Tuesday!

"I was fortunate to receive a scholarship at SKEMA through the partnership with the ARELI-Emergence programme. This scholarship was able to cover 75% of my tuition fees in the first year; it was a real help for me and my family," explains Loubna, a second-year student in the Master in Management (PGE) programme on the Lille campus.

"Everyone can help students"

Today, Loubna is a member of the SKEMA Ventures Club student association and invites the SKEMA community to contribute. "Anyone can help other students in the same situation as me. All you need to do is to fill an online form!"
