Late March, SKEMA’s Global Executive MBA students visited the Raleigh campus for an intensive week combining classes, presentations by guest speakers, company visits and cultural activities.

The 15 students, from nine countries around the world, along with the Global Executive MBA programme director, Anke Middelmann, had the opportunity to take part in a variety of activities such as:  
  • Hybrid classes at the SKEMA Raleigh campus on topics such as ethics, sustainability, and strategy 

  • with professors onsite and abroad: Bernard Sinclair-Desgagné, professor of economics and corporate social responsibility, and Philippe Chereau, professor in strategy and entrepreneurship 

  • Lectures and presentations by local guest speakers on the topics of US business environment, innovation, leadership, and artificial intelligence 

  • Visits of local companies with a focus on technology and innovation: Pryon, Raleigh Founded, Bandwidth Inc., Red Hat, Cellectis, bioMérieux, RiotLabs, and North Carolina State University Centennial Campus, where SKEMA is located 

  • Activities to immerse students in US culture, including the North Carolina Museum of History, the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences, as well as a hockey game.  

The SKEMA Business School Global Executive MBA offers the possibility of studying in a global environment, on the five continents where SKEMA has campuses. In addition to Raleigh, students participate in several other residential weeks on SKEMA's international campuses in Raleigh (North Carolina, USA), Paris (France), and Belo Horizonte (Brazil).
