Grand Paris campus: A brand-new sports hall and association spaces for the new term
At the start of the new academic year in September 2024, SKEMA Business School students will be able to use new state-of-the-art sports facilities on our Grand Paris campus, as well as magnificent community facilities. Their delivery marks the completion of the third major phase of the flagship Grand Paris campus project.
Who hasn't dreamt of playing sports between classes, during a lunch break, or at the end of the day after a tough exam? In September 2024, students at the Grand Paris campus will be able to do just that! The new sports hall has a total surface area of 300 m2 divided into three areas: cardio, fitness/musculation and a beautiful dance and yoga room. Located at the heart of the Grand Paris campus, with direct access from the main building, this facility is equipped with treadmills, bicycles, elliptical trainers and a stair climber: ideal for working your cardio and lower muscle groups.
SKEMA students will also be able to use a range of weight training equipment. All the sports facilities will be managed and run by Arnaud Romer, a physical education and sports teacher on the Grand Paris campus.
A new headquarters for student associations
After their sports session, students involved in student associations will be able to join the adjoining association premises to work on and discuss their projects. A 700 m2 space has been designed for this purpose and will open its doors in September 2024 to accommodate the 20 associations on the Grand Paris campus. Equipped with meeting rooms, offices, a music room and a large activity area, the new Grand Paris campus association space will offer exceptional comfort for carrying out the most ambitious association projects.
