Four students from the HOPE Paris student society went on a humanitarian mission to Nepal in August 2022 to distribute sanitary protection products to Nepalese women. They used this opportunity to meet the local population and discuss everyday matters and women’s place in the Nepalese society. On 8 December, the students will present the documentary that they made based on their experience.

In August 2022, Master in Management (PGE) students Dimitri Droit, Licia Napolitano, Adèle Devillers and Sarah Ben Bouzza went on a humanitarian mission to Nepal, to distribute around 650 pairs of sanitary pads, through six deliveries, to women living in remote villages in Nepal.

A thirty-minute documentary

Back in France, the students wish to continue their mission by raising funds to enable women in Nepal to create ecological, economical and safe protection themselves. "We wanted our project to continue by providing the communities of Nepalese women we met with the means to become entrepreneurs by creating their own menstrual pads", says Sarah Ben Bouazza, an M1 student in the PGE programme in charge of HOPE's Nepal mission. To raise the necessary funds, the students have organised a screening of their film on the Grand Paris campus on 8 December. The 30-minute long film features images retracing the students' journey and will give Nepalese women a voice.
