Paris 2024: SKEMA student to carry the Olympic torch in Paris

Arthur Seurin, a student in the Master in Management (PGE) programme (set to graduate in 2024) at SKEMA Business School, has been chosen by the Paris City Hall to carry the Olympic torch. In July, he will traverse the city with the iconic torch. Notably, a year ago, Arthur was honoured by the Prefect of Paris for acts of bravery and dedication.

Arthur Seurin is one of the 102 Parisians selected by the City of Paris to carry the Olympic torch for the Paris 2024 Summer Olympic Games. In 2023, the young man saved his neighbour from a fire. “Following my decoration, the Paris City Hall made me this offer. Being a sports fan, I accepted with immense joy," says the student, who has been working for a year at Bretteville Consulting as a management consultant in the banking and insurance sectors. Along with alumna and entrepreneur Laura Di Muzio (SKEMA 2014), he is the second SKEMA graduate to be honoured in this way by the organising authorities of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
