Research: Gronen 2024 to host over 170 Researchers in late may at the Grand Paris campus

"Mainstreaming sustainability?" This is the theme of the upcoming Gronen research conference, taking place from the 27th to the 30th of May. Gronen, a group of committed and highly active researchers in the field of sustainability integration and its impact on businesses, will gather at SKEMA Business School. The event will attract researchers from both French and international business schools.

Overseen by the SKEMA Centre for Sustainability Studies​, Gronen 2024 will bring together experts in sustainability issues related to the increasing prominence of sustainability in organizations. "We have around 175 participants, with about 100 papers on the programme.​," explains Eva Niesten, Professor of Strategy and Sustainability and Director of the research centre.


A Conference "Promoting Sustainability" with Alumni


On May 29, a conference titled "Mainstreaming Sustainability" will feature professors specializing in sustainability issues and impact-driven entrepreneurs. The panelists will discuss the impact of sustainability on the business world, society, and the environment. Professor Juliane Reinecke from the University of Oxford will engage with Yves Bogaert (SKEMA 1991), member of the Business Convention for Climate, Charles Christory (SKEMA 2008), co-founder and CEO of Le Fourgon, Hubert Motte, founder of La Vie est Belt, and Benjamin Michaud (SKEMA 2005), international customer director of private label & B2B at Bonduelle. This panel will be chaired by Professors Carole Daniel and Barbara Ribeiro from the SKEMA Centre for Sustainability Studies.​
