SKEMA Brazil launches partnership with Federal University (UFMG)

Alice Guilhon, dean and executive president of SKEMA Business School, and other members of the Executive Committee, visited the SKEMA Brazil campus for strategic meetings with partners, students and employees.

Between 7 and 11 of February 2022, Alice Guilhon, dean and executive president of SKEMA Business School, visited the newly opened SKEMA Brazil campus. Accompanied by Patrice Houdayer, executive vice president, Céline Gobeill, director of Business Development, Gaelle Le Gall Nicolas, global director of Marketing and Communications, and Cédric Bedini, chief of staff to the dean, Guilhon visited the campus facilities and was able to see the unit in full operation.

Strategic meetings with institution's partners


In addition, the Executive Committee participated in strategic meetings with the institution's partners to outline new joint actions and established new partnerships with major players in the Minas Gerais market. They launched an academic cooperation with the Department of Administrative Sciences from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG). The partnership intends to involve research, teaching and extension in the areas of administration, business, technology, innovation, artificial intelligence and others, with activities that involve not only the faculty, but also students and the local community. The sharing of experiences, materials and knowledge will contribute to the advancement of the debate, of an innovative nature, as well as enable various actions for the internationalisation of Brazilian education.

Pensar o Futuro event


During the week, Alice Guilhon also participated in the Pensar o Futuro event and the Executive Committee members met with SKEMA's faculty and staff in goal planning meetings. During lunch with the students, they were able to meet the representatives of the student associations on the campus and explore a little more the opportunities for students getting involved in the local community.
