BPCE has selected SKEMA Business School to launch its new strategy for relationships with business schools. This partnership marks a major turning point for both institutions, opening up new opportunities for students in finance, banking, and insurance.

The aim of the partnership with BPCE is clearly outlined: to increase opportunities for SKEMA students, whether in internships, work placements, VIE contracts, fixed-term contracts, or permanent positions. As a reminder, in 2023-2024, BPCE and Natixis have already recruited 39 interns and 9 apprentices from SKEMA. These numbers are expected to rise in the future, with BPCE’s active participation in key recruitment events such as the Virtual Career Fair or the Finance Day.

Concrete projects already underway

Several concrete actions are already planned to strengthen the link between SKEMA and BPCE. A visit to the Natixis and BPCE headquarters in Paris is being organised for students of the MSc Financial Markets and Investments, where the heads of market operations will share their experience. Similarly, a visit to Natixis’ trading floor in London is scheduled for 26th September for students from the Sophia Antipolis campus. Thanks to this partnership, SKEMA Business School is offering its students privileged access to a major player in finance, further reinforcing its commitment to employability and academic excellence. “We are very pleased with this partnership with BPCE, built on strong values including excellence, which will allow SKEMA students to discover the richness and diversity of careers in investment banking and wealth management within one of the sector’s leaders,” says Pascale Viala, Director of Corporate Office and Associate Dean.

An alliance based on shared values

BPCE’s Director of Human Resources, Cécile Tricon-Bossard, also welcomes this close collaboration. “SKEMA embodies excellence and international openness while focusing on innovation and the human factor. This vision perfectly resonates with our own DNA and cooperative values, making BPCE a unique playground for talents who enjoy entrepreneurship, learning, and growth.” The partnership will enable BPCE and Natixis to engage with students through various events and conferences while strengthening their presence at recruitment sessions organised by the school.
