SKEMA Leadership Award: SKEMA honours alumna Mathilde Thomas, co-founder of Caudalie
On 21 March, SKEMA Business School hosted the inaugural edition of the SKEMA Leadership Award. The event was an opportunity for the school to acknowledge the exceptional journey of one of its distinguished alumni, Mathilde Thomas (SKEMA 1994), co-founder of the cosmetics brand Caudalie. Bringing together leading figures from the school and the industry, the SKEMA Leadership Award was bestowed upon her in recognition of her strong impact in the world of beauty and wellness.
SKEMA alumna Mathilde Thomas, class of 1994, was honoured for her pioneering spirit and innovation, qualities that have enabled her to thrust Caudalie into the international spotlight. This award also commends her remarkable commitment to the environment, a central concern for the company, which now inspires clients, businesses, and the new generation of SKEMA students alike. Jean-Philippe Courtois (SKEMA 1983) and chairman of the SKEMA Board of Directors, along with Alice Guilhon, dean and executive president of SKEMA, highlighted Mathilde Thomas's positive influence, thus reflecting the values and spirit of leadership the school strives to instil in its students.
