November 17, SKEMA USA co-hosted a networking and fundraising event to support the upcoming launch of the French Cultural Center of the Carolinas. This event was organised in partnership with the French American Chamber of Commerce Carolinas (FACCC) and the Alliance Française of Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill.
Over 200 people attended, including many members of the SKEMA community (students, faculty, staff, partners) as well as several guests of honor such as:
- NC governor, Roy Cooper
- Consul generale of France in Atlanta, Anne-Laure Desjonquères
- NC secretary of Natural and Cultural Resources, Reid Wilson.
This joyful event offered the local Francophile community an excellent opportunity to not only network, in French and English, but also share a pleasant moment with live jazz and delicious food catered by La Farm Bakery, a popular local bakery founded by a French chef.
