SKEMA Ventures help Raleigh students strengthen their startup ideas
From November 13 to 15, SKEMA Ventures USA welcomed five SKEMA Raleigh students for the bi-annual Bootstrap: an intensive three-day workshop designed to help student-entrepreneurs bring their business ideas to life.
Through hybrid, hands-on coaching led by SKEMA Ventures Director Philippe Chereau, joining virtually from France, and SKEMA Ventures US Manager, Mitchell Weisberg, the participants refined their projects into structured business models. They learned how to design an attractive value proposition for customers and practiced how to pitch their venture to investors and stakeholders. On the last day of the workshop, they pitched their ideas to a jury of three local entrepreneurs and professionals and received thorough feedback and encouragement. To conclude the workshop, the students had lunch with the jury and learned more about their background, professional and entrepreneurial experiences, and received advice and guidance.
Congratulations to the students on completing the workshop and taking their entrepreneurial projects to the next level:
