Spi Dauphine: SKEMA’s sailing association seeks sponsors

A major sporting event for the student community, Spi Dauphine brings together almost 1,000 students from universities and schools across Europe. SKEMA Yachting, our student sailing association at the Sophia Antipolis campus, is looking for sponsors to participate in the race.

This year, the event is being organised between April 22 and 28.

"The objective of Spi Dauphine is to develop an important network between students. For a week, students compete in sporting challenges such as regattas, triathlons and trail running," explains Edgar Dacquin, president of SKEMA Yachting and a third-year Master in Management (PGE) student.

Throughout the year, this association organises several events, such as fishing initiation days, water decontamination days near Antibes, and sailing days with the children of the Cannes hostel. "For this project, we are working with SKEMA's HOPE association and Yacht Club de Cannes," explains Louise Wiranus, a third-year Global BBA student.

To complete their total budget of 12,000 euros, the students are looking for sponsors and have launched an online fundraising campaign.
