Youth Talks: students participate in global survey on the future

SKEMA Business School is proud to be associated with the first initiative of the Higher Education for Good Foundation (of which it is a co-founder) titled "Youth Talks". As a key partner, SKEMA is joining Youth Talks, a vast global consultation of young people. This survey aims to ask young people about their aspirations, challenges and solutions for a sustainable future by and for young people around the world. SKEMA students are invited to respond en masse!

Imagine a consultation of young people from all over the world, that aims to conduct a collective and co-constructed reflection on the expectations and aspirations of a young and heterogeneous public to envisage and build the future of higher education.

This is the humanist challenge that "Youth Talks" proposes to take up, via a massive and innovative collective intelligence survey co-constructed with Bluenove, a company specialising in citizen consultations via the use of powerful semantic analysis technologies.

Reaching 200 million young people worldwide

This international initiative is intended to reach more than 200 million young people, between the ages of 15 and 29, around the world and collect the aspirations of tens of thousands of them. Through embedded technologies, Youth Talks will be able to capture, as closely as possible, the feelings and opinions of those surveyed.

As students of SKEMA, an institution of higher education, you are the primary candidates of the Youth Talks survey, which is why it is important to make your voice heard!

How to participate?

To participate, respondents must be between 15 and 29 years of age. To contribute to the survey, all you have to do is complete an online questionnaire on the Youth Talks platform. You will then be part of this great initiative and contribute to the future of higher education.

If you want to contribute collectively to the Youth Talks initiative, you are free to organise a Youth Talks activity by becoming an ambassador and hosting, for example, a Youth Talks stand, or organising debates and creativity workshops, etc. The consultation teams are here to support you.

Mapping the world's youth

The  objective of Youth Talks is to map the needs, convergences, divergences, and also the weak signals emitted by young people around the world, which will be dynamic and free to access. "Participating in this massive collective intelligence initiative is an opportunity for young people to start making a difference in education and co-construct a future by and for young people," explains Marine Hadengue, executive director of the Higher Education for Good Foundation, adding: "The results of the consultation will enable the foundation to design new models of humanistic higher education, going beyond the acquisition of professional skills and enabling young people to become autonomous individuals, conveying values that will foster more sustainable societies.

Building humanist education models

The data collected during the Youth Talks consultation will be used to facilitate the work of the Higher Education for Good Foundation in co-creating new models of humanistic higher education with its partners and stakeholders.

It will also benefit the different stakeholders of the initiative: the young people themselves, all the partner schools and universities, large organisations and groups of young people, and political institutions.
