Students can start their Global BBA studies in Sophia Antipolis (south of France) or Lille (north of France).
SKEMA's Global BBA is a state-certified bachelor's degree.
Apprenticeship within the Global BBA is possible in the final year of the program. This curriculum is open to all students who have completed their international mobility in the third year. The training involves alternating three weeks in a company and one week of classes on the campus. The possibilities for choosing a company, location, and mission offered to students are extensive. In addition to covering tuition fees in the last year of studies, this apprenticeship provides strong professional skills that greatly enhance their employability.
Since September 2022, students of the new EADA X SKEMA Global BBA double-degree programme will be able to spend the first two years on the EADA campus in Barcelona, then spend the third year at one of SKEMA's seven campuses across the world, and do their fourth year either in Barcelona or at one of SKEMA's campuses, depending on the specialisation they have chosen.
Our Global BBA allows students to obtain a recognised double degree:
SKEMA's Global BBA degree and (according to your study path):
- SKEMA's American, North Carolina-state recognised bachelor's degree for those doing the International Business course on SKEMA's Raleigh campus
or - the North Carolina State University (NCSU), USA, bachelor's degree or the Western Carolina University (WCU), Cullowhee, USA, bachelor's degree.
or - the bachelor's degree from the partner university in the case of a double-diploma transfer programme
or - a Brazilian-state recognised degree for students who do the Global Business course, spending two years on SKEMA's Brazilian campus.
The BBA degree is a first-level undergraduate degree.
This qualification is a well-recognised standard among companies which recruit in an international environment. The SKEMA BBA has the "Visa" meaning that it is officially recognised by the French state as four years of study. It is worth 240 ECTS credits.
A bachelor's degree allows entry directly into the workplace or entry into a higher level course such as a master of science, which, after 12 to 18 months of study, leads to a master's degree

The location
You will be living and working in some of the most beautiful places in the world: the French Riviera, or Lille in the north of France, as well as on one of our global campuses in Brazil (Belo Horizonte), China (Nanjing), the US (Raleigh) or South Africa (Stellenbosch – Cape Town).
International
The emphasis on a truly international experience (between six months and two years internationally) gives students an important insight into cultural differences and unfamiliar business environments, making them highly employable and attractive in the future business world.
By joining the SKEMA Global BBA, graduating students obtain a degree in international business management (DESMIE) accredited by the French Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, and conferring the degree of a French "license" (four years of higher education – Level 6). The degree programme is based on 240 ECTS credits shared equally among general courses, basic management, courses with an international outlook and specialised courses.
General education
The general courses cover the skills necessary for anyone holding a position of responsibility, whether this be supervising people or managing an activity that adds value to the firm. These courses comprise IT skills, written and verbal communication, ethics and the essentials of mathematics.
Management fundamentals
The fundamentals of management are the core of the programme. Global BBA students acquire the knowledge and skills essential to different aspects of management: accounting, general management, marketing, quality, human resources, value creation etc.
Global skills
BBA in Global Management students have marketing courses that are specific to the international campus where they are studying (United States, China etc.); they also learn human resources from an intercultural perspective, the courses in contract law and intellectual property law are related to the location of the site where they are studied; the same is true of courses in international negotiation.
Specialisations and electives
Students are free to choose courses from the SKEMA course catalogue or that of our partners. This means that they can acquire knowledge and skills in line with their individual career plan. Students may also enrol in a specialisation, taking a number of recommended advanced courses; these are recognised by a special mention on the diploma.
The diploma is awarded after validation of at least 40 compulsory courses. However, there is no maximum limit to the number of courses taken and students are free to follow more than the minimum number of modules at no extra cost.

The 4x4 mobility option
The 4x4 BBA is a global, flexible programme allowing students to spend their four years on four different SKEMA campuses (years one and two on the two French campuses, year three on an international campus, year 4 being linked to the campus specialisation).
Students can prepare progressively for international mobility, discover different countries and cultures, live an extraordinary student life and expand their CVs thanks to professional experiences in different business environments.

The artificial intelligence track is the result of a collaboration between experts from different disciplines. The curriculum reflects the variety and richness of research and teaching of SKEMA AI faculty profiles in the AI Institute.
Graduates are experts in artificial intelligence with an interdisciplinary approach. Our students will learn different disciplines ranging from computer science to management, from data science to marketing, from machine learning to HRM. Students will also learn about cutting-edge applications to business and management made possible by AI technology.
They will also have the opportunity to develop their capstone projects with SKEMA AI faculty, an internationally recognised group of scholars with various backgrounds and research expertise in AI.
Ethical aspects related to this field are taken seriously too.

Strong points
This specialisation builds on the BBA's 30 years of experience in dual skills training: in science and management. The recent development of the SKEMA Labs in Sophia, Raleigh and Montreal provide practical elements that allow students to develop and be ready for their careers in this exciting area. SKEMA's strongly international dimension allows students to develop the mindset for working in a globalised business environment.
We have now set up the first Introduction to Artificial Intelligence course in China. This course will become mandatory for all BBA students as of fall 2021.
This specialisation includes modules on: programming with Python and R, databases, machine learning, ethics in database use.

MSc Artificial Intelligence for Business Transformation -
This is general training in engineering and managing innovation where teaching is centred on project management and integrated with real life activities throughout the programme.
As a complement to the fundamentals of engineering, this programme is based on a solid knowledge of innovation management in a global world.It corresponds to the needs of international markets for graduates with dual competencies.
These “engineer-managers” will contribute to the emergence of new technologies and then help get them to market.
Students acquire project management skills, managing engineering projects during their first and second years. They learn to communicate within a multi-disciplinary student body, and become familiar with the latest tools for research and development.

EADA and SKEMA create a double degree BBA in Barcelona
From September 2022, students on the new EADA X SKEMA Global BBA double-degree course will be able to spend their first two years on EADA’s campus in Barcelona, then go on a mobility track during the third year on one of SKEMA's seven French and international campuses, and then spend their fourth year either in Barcelona or on one of SKEMA's campuses, depending on the specialisation they will choose.
This double degree is also an opportunity for our SKEMA Global BBA students to immerse themselves in Barcelona, with its ultra-dynamic economic centre, where they will be able to take the "sustainable innovation" specialisation.

This track allows students to live and study abroad for two semesters.
After doing two academic years at SKEMA (Sophia Antipolis campus), the exchange takes place in one of the institutions with which SKEMA has signed a partnership agreement.
Students experience total immersion in another culture and educational system, learning about the world and even themselves, and, in the end, building a better CV!

This option gives our students the opportunity to study for two years in one of our partner universities (located according to the student’s specialisation) in the UK, Australia, Canada, USA (see map above).
Students must have validated two academic years at the SKEMA campus of Sophia Antipolis in order to continue their studies at the partner university for the next two years.
They then get a degree from the partner university and SKEMA.
Requirements:- Much higher than average academic results
- English language – TOEFL score of 80/120 minimum (some universities require a score of 90).
- Validation of the entire syllabus in Sophia Antipolis before going abroad

At our Brazilian (Belo Horizonte), Chinese (Nanjing) and US (Raleigh) campuses, students experience total immersion: local infrastructure, academic and sporting facilities, etc. Our campuses are located at the heart of university areas so students are in constant contact with international teachers and local students.
From the third year, all BBA in Global Management students may attend these campuses for a semester or a full year of study.

Financial support
Students who have been granted the status of athlete students receive a sports grant of up to €2000 per year. If students are unable to follow a full semester of courses due to training commitments, the following services are offered with no additional expense:

hi everyone so uh pleased to see you my
name is Alessia Lucho and I am the
global BBA academic director based here
in Sofia antipolis okay so the first
thing I would like to say is that the
global BBA program is extremely flexible
and by flexible we mean that it offers
students plenty of possibility and and
potentially plenty of choices to make
now this flexibility this possibility to
make choices choices of courses choices
of Mobility uh is can be seen as a great
opportunity right it can be seen as
something good but on the other hand it
could be quite overwhelming for our
students so how do we overcome that
potential difficulty well we have a
dedicated team of academic advisor that
are here basically to guide to assist
our students all throughout their uh
their uh their education and to guide
them basically in their choices so the
team of academic advisors are all
teachers in the global PBA program which
is extremely important why because they
know the program really well that's the
first thing second thing they are
absolutely fluid in English okay which
obviously helps as the program is taught
100 in English and the third thing is
that they are present on campus at least
between three to four times a week
available for face-to-face meeting and
if not possible obviously there's also
the alternative of organizing teams
meetings there is a minimum set of
meetings that that are organized per
semester which is basically three
meetings but there's no maximum amount
of meetings so whenever a student needs
some guidance some some advice needs
basically an academic advisor feel free
just to contact it to reach out so
academic advisors are here to help
they're here to answer the questions
they're here to guide but by all means
they're not there to take responsibility
they're not there to to make the choices
on behalf of the students we are really
insisting on students owning the future
taking responsibility being independent
and as autonomous as possible so to
conclude I think that
having these academic advisors is a
great opportunity for our students first
of all to share the concerns to ask for
guidance to uh to discuss potential
issues
to plan the future and to share
ambitions

The tutors are dedicated teachers who are on campus three to four days per week. They meet individually with each student at least six times a year. But there is no limit to how many times a student may seek their tutor’s assistance. A simple schedule hangs next to tutors’ doors, and that’s all that’s needed to guarantee a 15-minute, to one-hour, appointment within two days at most.
Tutors are mentors, who foster students’ ambitions and professional goals. They are also advisors, sharing their insights on industry and job market trends to optimize students’ profiles. They guide students within the limits of what is possible, yet they only provide advice: students remain the sole and final decision-makers of their academic choices.
For our students, tutors are a special human link with the school, as well as for their parents who also have direct access to them.

Careers: Entrepreneurship & Business Administration specialisation
Students learn to manage a business unit or run a whole business. They also learn how to create a new entity whether this be a new branch of an existing company or a completely new enterprise.

Careers: Global Business specialisation
Students will occupy managerial positions in companies that are developing abroad, or they may work in an advisory capacity to foreign companies setting up in France.

Careers: Supply Chain specialisation
Graduates have high potential for recruitment in a wide range of industries and sectors. The field supply chain offers a variety of possible assignments and jobs ranging from generalist supply chain management, materials management and project management. Graduates will be able to work in other areas of the business too.
Job opportunities: Supply chain manager, purchasing manager, projecrt manager, quality manager, business process manager, inventory control specialist, logistics / supply chain analyst.
Careers: Management of Marine Environments specialisation
This specialisation is for those who are passionate about the marine environment. It is largely based on project work and has a strong international component.

Careers: Environmental Management specialisation
This specialisation leads to jobs in research, or more applied areas such as waste management, conservation and management of natural resources, consulting or contributing to global projects in international organisations.

For those who have both business and artificial intelligence competences, the future job market is a rewarding and exciting place to be. Artificial intelligence is a rapidly expanding area in business fields and research.
