An ambitious programme, co-developed by Renault Group, SUEZ and SKEMA Executive Education, has recently come to a close. Over several months, twenty women managers from different continents followed a pathway designed to nurture a new generation of female leaders. The aim: to equip them with the tools to move from management roles to decision-making positions, by combining skills development, strategic thinking and personal empowerment.

On 3 April, the final pitching session marked the culmination of the Women Journey Renault x SUEZ initiative – a journey that was both ambitious and deeply human. Built on three key pillars: interactive courses, peer mentoring circles and a strategic innovation project. More than a training programme, Women Journey offers a lasting shift towards confident leadership for the women involved.

An unforgettable journey of growth, meaningful connections and a true sense of empowerment, shaped by the unique synergy between Renault and SUEZ.

This is not just a development programme – it is a catalyst. It activates talent, strengthens conviction, and aligns personal ambition with collective challenges. With a clear ambition to support women in their transition from manager to leader, the programme is grounded in a rigorous pedagogical design, including:

  • Immersive seminars delivered by SKEMA professors. Maryse Matta, Emma Azoulay, Oriane Destouches, Michel Ferrary, Éric Viardot, Jean-François Detout and Stéphanie Chasserio led sessions on self-assertiveness, high-impact communication, diversity management and contemporary strategic issues.

  • Mentoring circles, encouraging peer exchange and building a strong support network to accelerate career growth.

  • A strategic project, developed over four months in response to real-world challenges set by Renault and SUEZ. These team-based projects culminated in a final presentation before senior executives from both organisations.

What sets this programme apart is its grounding in real-world contexts and its ability to drive genuine transformation. Gülsah Yilmaz, Head of Supply Chain at Renault in Turkey, described it as “an unforgettable journey of growth, meaningful connections and a true sense of empowerment, shaped by the unique synergy between Renault and SUEZ. The experience was defined by inspiring exchanges, shared ambition and the collective strength of remarkable women. It will stay with me for years to come.”

Parul Goel, Department Head at SUEZ in India, also spoke of the programme’s impact on her professional development: “It was both enriching and challenging. The project I worked on was highly relevant and rooted in reality, which I valued. It helped me strengthen my leadership skills, especially in communication, decision-making and strategic thinking.” She also highlighted the power of the collective: “Exchanging with other women leaders and learning from their experiences was very impactful. I especially appreciated the small group format with mentors. A well-balanced programme that helped me grow both personally and professionally.”

A well-coordinated support team

The success of the programme also relied on close coordination between corporate partners and SKEMA’s teams. Patrick Benammar, Stéphane Guyon, Sandrine Blec-Recoquillay, Frédéric Sales, Valérie Meurillon, Delphine Batiot and Lucie Gasmi all played key roles, offering tangible support throughout the journey. On SKEMA’s side, Stéphanie Chasserio led the academic direction, supported by Anne Bocquet on overall coordination.
